![]() Off to Edinburgh today - the longest trip so far - 52 miles each way! Feeling confident as I planned to park in Dynamic Earth, near to where I was going to a SDG's task force meeting. From the plug-in map app I could tell there was a plug in, perhaps needing a 3 pin plug (like at home) - so I took both my 3pin and the normal 5pin plug. I got to Dynamic Earth using half my electric charge to find there is just one plug in bay with only one 3 pin plug - one car was already in situ. No other public car park (Waverley, Top of Leith Walk) in the city centre DO NOT have any plug-ins. The others in the city centre are either a hotel (Radisson Blu £24 for 24 hours one charge!! outrageous!) or the university which are for staff/student use really. I got home OK because of my small petrol tank, but did stop in Kinross to plug in to the 'rapid charge' whilst I shopped in Sainsbury - sadly the rapid charge was not working! But the charge company were most helpful and I did get plugged into the slow charge which added about 8 miles charge! Just to say Edinburgh get your act together! Dundee and Glasgow are miles ahead of you!
