Day Four: I live rurally and friends have commented 'aren't electric cars are more for city dewellers?'.  Well I guess I didn't believe that, but the brand new BMW i3 has an 8 litre petrol tank which extends your drive by 80 miles.  It certainly gives peace of mind!  Today was able to park and plug in for free at the Dundee University!

Day 1: Pick up the car

Picked up my brand new i3 BMW extender and electric vehicles are new to me.  Connected the phone app, all synced up and drove home for the first time.  The battery was 3/4 at 65 miles and by driving efficiently I did the 15 miles home but still had only used 6 miles of battery!  Impressed!
