Our widely diverse community here in the Carse of Gowrie has one common bond - our area is recognised as one of the most vulnerable areas to climate change in Scotland long term.
The Carse of Gowrie Sustainability Group believes that sustainability & environmental change are the key issues facing this generation.
We aim is to embrace the positives and tackle the negative effects of climate change and environment change,
Our diverse communities are strongly linked, and residents are greatly influenced, by our shared heritage and history, so our Group sets this common connection at its our core. Since forming in 2011 the Carse of Gowrie Sustainability Group have initiated a number of Carse-wide projects with budgets from £0 to £30,000k, and developed strong relationships in our communities, with the local authorities & the Scottish Government to address the challenges we face with environmental change now and in the future.
We strive to work together to make the Carse of Gowrie a more sustainable place to live, work and play for the next generation.
